Florida Fun

Ry and I headed to Florida for a little getaway to start the summer. We had beautiful weather and Ry had a great time! We spent a lot of time swimming in my parents pool. Ry loves to swim and the fact that Nana had water-guns and a Mickey Mouse Club House tube only made it better. We also played with side walk chalk in their drive way, fed fish at the nearby lake, watched in great fun at Pop Pops trains, went to the beach, and also went on a great train ride!

We had a great time and enjoyed all that Nana and Pop Pop did for us while we were there!

Toy Story 3

I think most people know that we are big fans of Toy Story! Ryan's 3rd birthday was an amazing Toy Story Party. So we had been planning for a while to take Ryan to see Toy Story 3 in the movie theater. It would be his first movie theater experience. We went to a matinee on a Tuesday at 10:45. While munching on fruit snacks and popcorn, Ry sat pretty well for the nearly 2 hour show. It was sweet and sappy and scary at times too! Overall it was a great movie that mom and dad both enjoyed also.

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to a great dad, Travis, and to all the other dads out there! We spent the morning having a yummy breakfast. After that we headed to the Pittsburgh Zoo to take in some animals!

Fair

We took Ry to the fair the other day. The Catholic Church down the road had their annual fair. We were able to just walk right down the street to it which was real nice. They had little games set up as well as some small rides and food stands.

Ry got to go on a bouncy house, a mini whirl ride for kids, and a mini train ride. His favorite was the bouncy house!

We then played a few games including a mini duck fishing game, ping pong toss to win a goldfish, games of chance, and a few car games. He liked them all and while he didn't win a goldfish, he did walk away with a mini flashlight and a bouncy ball.

We ended the evening by getting ice cream as a treat to enjoy while walking home!

Touch A Truck

This morning Ry and I went out with some friends to "Touch a Truck". It's an event sponsored by the Junior League where for $5 your child can touch every type of truck imaginable. Ry loved it! He got to go on a bus, hold and spray a fire truck hose, sit in lots of vehicles, and even walked away with a construction hat!
