How do I get permanent marker off of a stained wooden surface?
For Ryan's 5th Birthday I had bought a lot of permanent markers for the kids to decorate pails. When done I put the markers in our regular marker container. The other morning Ry decided to color and he grabbed these. While a great artist, Ry did end up getting permanent marker all over our wooden kitchen table.
I was hesitant to use rubbing alcohol because I was concerned about the stain coming off of the table. Well rubbing alcohol didn't do much. I grabbed a Magic Eraser at the suggestion of some other moms. That didn't do the trick. I then decided to put some rubbing alcohol on the Magic Eraser and voila...the marks came off the table.
Do you have any other tips for removing permanent marker from surfaces?
